Atunah's Romance Haus

I can't make my mind up if this is a 3 or a 4 star. At first I wasn't sure I would like the story following basically 2 couples instead of the usual 1. But that turned out not to be an issue and it flowed nicely between the 2. What bugged me a lot was the changing of the story of how Ran's parents died. While in captivity he told the heroine how his mother got sick and wasted away and then his father died of a broken heart. Theirs was a love match. But later in the book the death is described as both parents crashing with a bridge in their carriage and drowning. That isn't even close. It bugged because when he told the first story it was a poignant moment and to share some painful memories. The hero was away at war at the time it happening. The changing later kind of took away from that moment while they were kept. That is a big booboo to be in a book. But since I like the writing for the book and the very understated sensuality, I guess I'll keep it at 4 stars for that. Its a more quiet book so to speak with the characters discovering each other. I really liked that. eta: After some thought I put it at 3 stars. Just fits better for me personally.
