Atunah's Romance Haus

I am a sucker for the downtrotten, street urchin heroine meets lordling. I have no rational explanation why I like this totally unrealistic trope, but I do. :) Especially if they are done well and the characters are likable. I got all of that here. I found it romantic. Is it over the top? Of course. Would a Lord ever pick up a street urchin and fall for her? I doubt it. But then, I read fiction, not non fiction. Only thing that made even me roll my eyes was the tidy at the end. And the stubbornness of the heroine, also towards the end. She dragged that one out for no reason really. But it didn't take away from the book as a whole. I look forward reading the next one about the brother, who appeared somewhat of a rogue with a heart in this one. Another trope I like :).
