This one is oh so wrong, yet oh so right. It is a page turner. I just didn't want to stop reading once I started. I put aside the book I was reading I was so hooked from the beginning. There really were so many things wrong with this one, and right too, but somehow I just don't care. I was entertained to the max. Eye rolling moments, aplenty. Kathleen at moments TSTL? Plenty often :). Yet, I still like her. I had no idea also where this one was going from where it started. I felt like I was going to Disneyland and ended up in the Jungle of Brazil. Not literally of course, just that the path of the plot went into um, fantastical places. All that was missing were some Ninja's. Although Kathleen might have tried playing one of those too. Yet I loved it. It was so over the top and so highly entertaining. Like the movie Romancing the Stone where stuff just keeps happening and they keep running and falling and well, you get the idea. Just a lot of fun. And I have to say that I really wished that there could have been some threesome with Kathleen, Blane and Kade. Alas, it is not that kind of book *sigh. Can't blame a gal for some wishful thinking.Mighty fine specimens those two, Blane and Kade. Yum. Interesting undercurrent also between the main characters I am really looking forward in exploring in upcoming books. I bought this on sale the other day along with the 2nd and 3rd in the series, based on recommendations. I am really glad I did.
